'Thank You Year' Tour 2018

31 March 2018 marks the beginning of the 60th anniversary since His Holiness the Dalai Lama first came into exile to India from Tibet, followed by thousands of Tibetan refugees.

For the past 60 years, the Tibetan people have made unstinting efforts to promote their rich ancient culture and unique identity, lead the Tibetan freedom struggle which is based on the principles of non-violence and justice, and assure the viability and sustainability of the Tibetan communities.

The support, kindness and generosity of many individuals, organisations and governments across the globe has been instrumental in ensuring the success of the efforts of Tibetan people in these endeavours.

Therefore, with the blessings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and under the leadership of the Central Tibetan Administration, Tibetans around the world are observing the year 31 March 2018 to 30 March 2019 as a 'Thank You Year' to express our gratitude to all our many friends and supporters globally.

The Tashi Lhunpo Monks tour is dedicated to support the 'Thank You Year', and there will be special events in London as well as a tour of the Baltic States organised by the Office of Tibet London.

The monks arrive in Europe at the end of May and will be giving performances, running sand mandala exhibitions and workshops until the end of September.  Please keep coming back to this page for more information as it becomes available.  If you would like to book the monks for a performance or workshop, please get in touch with us.  More details with booking information, websites etc to follow.  We hope to see you at one of the performances in 2018.
